About Take Five
WZZM 13's Take Five is hosted by Catherine Behrendt
and Stephanie Webb, weekdays at 4:30pm.

Catherine Behrendt
Catherine Behrendt came to WZZM 13 in 1987 as a news producer and special projects reporter. As a reporter, she covered a variety of "beats," from crime to education to the lakeshore. Catherine anchored the morning and noon news on WZZM 13 for ten years and then went off the air for three years, during which time she worked in station management. First, she became Special Projects Manager in News and in 2001, she was given her own department and named Community and Special Projects Director.

Catherine continues to serve on the station's management team, but with a new department, Community and Local Programming. She is overseeing the launch of a new Local Programming Unit and the first project to come out of that unit is Take Five Grand Rapids. Catherine has returned to the airwaves of West Michigan as host of Take Five.

Catherine is active in the community as a volunteer. She currently serves on the Boards of Directors for ACCESS, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the Space is Special Foundation and the Public Relations Committee of the Salvation Army. Catherine is a past president of the Junior League of Grand Rapids. She has also served on the Boards of Directors for the American Cancer Society, the West Michigan Alzheimer's Association, the Kent County Humane Society, the Direction Center and the Grand Rapids Metropolitan YMCA.

Catherine and her husband, Kurt, have two children, Carly and Christopher. They make their home in Rockford.

Stephanie Webb
Stephanie Webb is the Reporter and Co-Host on "Take 5 Grand Rapids". Stephanie was supposed to go into Criminal Psychology ? as was her goal when she graduated from Hope College. She did an internship with the Michigan Department of Corrections and thought that was her calling. However, psychology was a part of her daily life when co-hosting the morning radio show at WGRD. She was the News Director and Morning Show co-host there for four years, where she was also the "celebrity smut guru."

Stephanie got her start in television at the FOX television affiliate here in Grand Rapids ? as a sales account representative. On a whim, she started doing voicework which lead to an on-air "Entertainment Host" position at the station. She also has experience as a media-buyer and in public relations planning.

When not at work, Stephanie enjoys catching up with "US Weekly", "In Touch", "Star", "InStyle" and other celebrity magazines; she also enjoys cooking, landscaping, yoga, and watching Mafia movies. Stephanie and her husband, Jack, have two young daughters.
